Javad Ismayilzada
I am a fourth year undergraduate at KAIST, double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. Currently, I am Undergraduate Researcher at NLP*CL Lab advised by Professor Jong C. Park where I work on evaluating and improving the reliability of multimodal language models. My research interests center around multimodal and generative AI, including but not limited to alignment and interpretability.
Previously, I worked as Undergraduate Research Intern at U&I Lab adviced by Professsor Alice Oh, focusing on benchmarking and detecting model bias which led to Outstanding Paper Award Paper at Proceedings of the 3rd Workshop on Cross-Cultural Considerations in NLP (C3NLP) at NAACL2025.
I also had industry experince building generative workflows at Google Startup Campus at Smoretalk Co.,Ltd , and building agentic systems at Big Wave AI Co.,Ltd.
Outside of research, I enjoy bouldering and solving competitive math olympiad problems.
